Don’t get me wrong links are one of the best ways to get top SERP but your links need to be relevant and meaning full! Just going out and getting links on blogs with your name as the anchor text most of which are tagged rel=nofollow is not going to give you the edge over a well structured moderately seo’d website that has been around for a decade longer than yours.
You have heard the phrase no pain no gain now think about that! If you work hard to have your website validate with w3c standards, implement proper design and coding and build natural relevant links pointing in all directions of your website your well on your way! 9.) Spell check your copy before posting it and then check it again!
10.) Use social media networks but only post meaningful and insightful articles, and blogs!
11.) Interweave your internal links so that it is natural and beneficial.
